In essence, diving from a boat isn’t really awkward. As a matter of fact, it’s convenient since you usually descend directly onto your dive site.
However, many wonderful diving sites are only accessible by boat. And this is where boat etiquette comes in.
You will benefit from the PADI Boat Diver Specialty course from various points of view. Why is the PADI Boat Diver course important? It will expand your knowledge about boats; from small inflatables to large liveaboards.
During two dives from a boat we will make you familiar with boat terminology, boat diving procedures and etiquette, including how to enter and exit, and where and how to stow your personal equipment.
You will lear to appreciate care for boats and comprehend the hazards of boat diving. We’ll make you familiar with the on-board emergency and safety equipment.
If you’re a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 10 years old, you can enroll in the Boat Diver course.
The PADI Boat Diver course will expand your knowledge about boats from small inflatables to large liveaboards. You’ll gain experience scuba diving by completing two dives from a boat with us.
You will become an insider about boat terminology, boat diving procedures and etiquette, including how to enter and exit, and where to stow your gear.
You will be alerted on boating safety, including how to locate safety equipment.
